Utlysning av forskar-ST-medel
|
|
Forskar-ST kan sökas av doktorander på KI som samtidigt har en anställning som ST-läkare hos vårdenhet som utför vård åt Region Stockholm enligt vårdavtal. Behöriga att söka är doktorander som vid ansökningstillfället ännu inte genomfört sin halvtidskontroll samt har genomfört högst 42 godkända ST-månader.
Ansök senast den 16 mars 2023, kl. 16.00.

Forskar-AT är en möjlighet att få finansierad forskningstid under läkarnas AT-utbildning. Forskar-AT kan sökas både av doktorander på KI och av disputerade som har en aktiv forskningsverksamhet vid KI.

Dags att söka till två av KI:s och Region Stockholms kliniska forskarskolor med start hösten 2023
|
|
Forskarskolorna vänder sig till doktorander som är kliniskt verksamma inom Region Stockholm och omfattar sammanlagt 16 veckors heltidsstudier, 24 hp. Kurserna är uppdelade i fyra block om fyra veckor och pågår under två år. Ansök senast 10 mars 2023 kl. 14.00.

Alla medarbetare och anknutna forskare och doktorander som bedriver forskning i KI:s laboratorier (”wetlabs”) måste genomgå den nya webbkursen snarast. Respektive institution informerar sina medarbetare om vart kurscertifikatet ska skickas.
Även doktorander som genomgått forskarutbildningskursen Basic Laboratory Safety (BLS) måste gå kursen. Den nya webbkursen inkorporeras som ett delmoment i forskarutbildningskursen Basic Laboratory Safety (BLS) från och med kurstillfället som startar i slutet av april 2023.

Kom och joina din studentkår Medicinska Föreningen (MF) och Doktorandsektionen (DSA)!
DSA är den största sektionen i MF och är ansvarig för alla doktorander. DSA:s styrelse har en egen budget och anordnar bland annat workshops, seminarier, evenemang och många andra aktiviteter. Vidare ansvarar DSA för val av och stöd för doktorandrepresentanter i vissa befattningar, och för att ta hand om doktorandernas välfärd.

Skriv under Studenter för hållbar utvecklings (SSD:s) öppna brev om utbildning om planetär hälsa och hållbar utveckling vid KI

Mot bakgrund av den pågående klimatkrisen måste KI snabbt implementera utbildning om planetär hälsa och hållbar utveckling (PHSE) i sin undervisning och utbildningsverksamhet. MF:s Studenter för hållbar utveckling (SSD) erkänner befintliga insatser men betonar att alla studenter och lärare vid KI måste vara utrustade med förmåga att anpassa sig till och mildra klimat- och miljöförändringar inom och utanför vården, för att svara upp mot den ekologiska nödsituationen.

FORSKARUTBILDNING PÅ WEBBEN

Doktorandnytt riktar sig till framförallt till doktorander. Syftet är att informera om nyheter och praktiska detaljer som rör KI:s forskarutbildning.
Doktorandnytt skickas ut ungefär tre gånger per termin från Fakultetskansliet på Karolinska Institutet.

Primary target groups for Doctoral student news are doctoral students as well as the departmental directors for doctoral studies and administrative officers for doctoral education. These groups receive the letter automatically. Other interested groups (for example doctoral supervisors) can subscribe to the newsletter at the staff portal.

Call for research residency programme ("forskar-ST-medel")
|
|
"Forskar-ST” is a programme for financing research during the residency for medical doctors (in Swedish ST-läkarutbildning). To apply you have to be a doctoral student at KI (not yet having performed your half-time review when you apply) as well as a physician performing your residency within Region Stockholm (having performed maximally 42 months of your residency).
Deadline for applications: 16 March 2023 at 4.00 p.m.

Announcement of research internships ("forskar-AT")

Time to apply to two of KI’s and Region Stockholm’s clinical research schools, starting autumn 2023
|
|
The research schools are for doctoral students clinically active in Region Stockholm and comprise a total of 16 weeks’ full-time study (24 HE credits). The courses are divided into four four-week blocks and last two years. Deadline for applications: 10 March 2023 at 2.00 p.m.

Doctoral courses spring 2023 with vacancies

Mandatory web course in laboratory safety is required to gain access to KI's laboratories ("wetlabs")
|
|
All employees and affiliated researchers as well as doctoral students who conduct research in KI's laboratories ("wetlabs") must complete the web course as soon as possible. The respective department informs its employees where the course certificate shall be sent.
Doctoral students who have completed the doctoral course Basic Laboratory Safety (BLS) must also complete the new web course. The web course has been incorporated in the course Basic Laboratory Safety (BLS) as of the course occasion that starts in the end of April 2023.

Become a DSA Board Member or join a DSA workgroup!
|
|
Come join your student union, Medicinska Föreningen (MF), and your section, the Doctoral Students' Association (DSA)!
DSA is the biggest section in MF and has the responsibility for all the doctoral students. The DSA board has its own budget and organizes workshops, seminars, events and many other activities. Moreover, it is responsible to elect and support doctoral students representatives in some positions and taking care of the welfare of the doctoral students' community.

Additionally, you can always help the DSA by joining one of their workgroups! Sign Students for Sustainable Development's open letter Calling for Planetary health and sustainability education at KI

In light of the ongoing climate crisis, KI must commit to rapid implementation of planetary health and sustainability education (PHSE) in all its teaching and educational activities. MF's Students for Sustainable Development (SSD) acknowledge existing efforts but emphasise that all students and teachers at KI must be equipped with abilities to adapt to and mitigate climate and environmental changes in healthcare and beyond, responding to the aggravating ecological emergencies.
