Stipendier till KI:s internationella studenter

För åttonde året i rad delades KI:s global master’s scholarship ut till internationella studenter som är antagna till KI:s masterprogram. Årets sju stipendiater har valts ut av 1500 sökande och kommer från Kina, Malawi, Etiopien, Rwanda, USA och Turkiet. Läs hela nyheten på ki.se/nyheter

KI satsar på att rekrytera studenter i USA

Karolinska institutet satsar på att rekrytera fler studenter från USA till våra globala masterprogram. I början av oktober gjordes en resa i samarbete med KI:s samarbetspartner DIS - Study Abroad in Scandinavia, som är ett starkt varumärke hos amerikanska studenter som är intresserade av att studera i Skandinavien. I maj i år åkte Karen Gustafsson och Emma Hägg tillsammans med kollegor från administrationen till Porto i Portugal för att lyssna på en presentation av SUCTI-projektet som handlade om att involvera administrativ personal i internationalisering. Etiska aspekter på utbyte

Lunds unversitets etikråd har nyligen gett ut en skrift med rekommendation om vilken information som bör finnas innan ställningstagande till studier i utlandet görs. KI har etiska riktlinjer för internationella samarbeten som är viktiga att känna till när man inleder nya samarbeten. Frågeställningarna som Lunds etikråd tar upp i sin skrift hanteras i KI:s fall på utbildningsprogramnivå med stöd av internationella handläggare och koordinatorer. Lunds skrift innehåller många relevanta frågeställningar och kan vara värd att läsa om man arbetar med utbytesstudier.

Inspirerande om inkluderande utbildning på EAIE
|
|
Vid årets EAIE-konferens i Helsingfors gav professor Aminata Cairo från Hague University of Applied Sciences en inspirerande avslutande föreläsning på temat inkluderande undervisning. SDG 4 (Sustainable Development Goals) om kvalitet i utbildning syftar till att "säkerställa inkluderande och rättvis kvalitetsutbildning och främja livslångt lärande för alla", där integration och rättvisa är centrala. Scholarships to KI:s global students
|
|
For the eighth year in a row, Karolinska Institutet’s Global Master’s Scholarship has been awarded to Master’s students from outside Europe. This year, seven out of 1,500 applicants were presented with their scholarship and the scholarship holders come from China, Malawi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, USA and Turkey. Read the article on ki.se/news

TKarolinska Institutet is investing in recruiting more students to our Global Master's programmes from the United States. In early October, a trip was made in collaboration with KI's partner DIS - Study Abroad in Scandinavia, a strong brand for American students interested in studying in Scandinavia. In May this year Karen Gustafsson and Emma Hägg went to Porto in Portugal together with colleagues from the administration to listen to a presentation of the SUCTI-project focusing on involving administrative staff in internationalisation. Ethical aspects of exchange studies
|
|
The Ethics Council at Lund University has recently issued a pamphlet (in Swedish) recommending what information should be available before carrying out studies abroad. KI has ethical guidelines for international collaborations that are important to be aware of when initiating new collaborations. The issues that Lund's Ethics Council addresses in the pamphlet are in KI's case handled on a study programme level with the support of administrators and international coordinators. Lund's pamphlet contains many relevant issues and may be worth reading if you work with exchange studies.

Inspiring talk about inclusive education at EAIE
