KI-Mayo konferensen blir digital

I september är det åter dags för den årliga konferensen för samarbetet inom forskning, innovation, utbildning och administration med Mayo Clinic. Med anledning av den rådande situationen kommer den 26:e konferensen anordnas digitalt på båda lärosäten samtidigt. Med hjälp av enheten för Utbildning och Lärande (UoL) och motsvarande stöd på Mayo Clinic kommer virtuella möten inom olika spår att erbjudas. Boka 10-11 september 2020. Ny bloggpost om vinnare i Gapmindereventet
|
|
I november förra året genomfördes en årlig undersökning bland studenter med frågor om global hälsa hämtade från Gapminder. Över 600 studenter deltog. Bland de som hade alla rätt lottades det ut några exemplar av boken "Factfulness" signerad av Ola Rosling. Nu vill vi gratulera vinnarna av en var sin bok, Jasmine Merkel och Efthymios Skoufas.

KI:s Hållbarhetsdag 7 maj sker online

I år kommer hållbarhetsdagen hållas online och erbjuda cykelfix, lunchföreläsningar, fototävling och en quiz - aktiviteter som anknyter till FN:s globala mål, med särskilt fokus på mål 12: Hållbar konsumtion och produktion. Läs mer om programmet och anmäl dig på ki.se

Kristina Orban tilldelas Internationaliseringspriset 2020
|
|
Dekanerna på de medicinska fakulteterna har beslutat att 2020 års Pris för internationalisering av utbildning på grundnivå och avancerad nivå vid Sveriges medicinska fakulteter ska tilldelas Kristina Orban vid Lunds universitet. Kristina Orban har sedan 2016 lett projektet Mirots, som syftar till att utveckla arbetsterapeut-studenternas professionella identitet och interkulturella erfarenheter. Tillsammans med KTH hälsar UHR välkommen till 2020 års konferens den 10-11 november. Konferensen har det övergripande temat internationalisering för innovation och förändring. Målet är att lyfta fram hur internationalisering kan bidra till förnyelse och utveckling samt möjligheter och utmaningar kopplat till en högskola i utveckling. Internationell högre utbildnings framtid i en värld utan mobilitet

"Vi lever redan i en värld där mobilitet inte är nödvändig, och ibland kanske inte ens önskvärd, för meningsfullt gränsöverskridande utbyte eller internationell utbildning" (egen översättning) Författarna till en artikel i University World News menar att vi måste anpassa internationalisering av utbildning till att passa en värld där fysisk mobilitet, efter Covid19, inte längre är en självklarhet.

The KI-Mayo conference goes digital
|
|
In September, it is time for the 26th annual conference for the collaboration in research, innovation, education and administration with Mayo Clinic. Due to the prevailing situation, the conference will be held digitally at both sites at the same time. With the help of the unit for Teaching and Learning (UoL) and the eqvivalent staff at Mayo Clinic virtual sessions in different tracks will be arranged. Save the date 10-11 September 2020. New blog post about winners in the Gapminder event
|
|
In November last year, an annual survey of KI-students' knowledge in global health was conducted with questions from Gapminder. More than 600 students participated. Among those who had all correct answers we gave away the book "Factfulness" signed by Ola Rosling in a lottery. Now we would like to congratulate the winners Jasmine Merkel and Efthymios Skoufas.

The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) together with KTH, welcome you to the 2020 conference on 10-11 November. The the overall theme of the conference is internationalisation for innovation and change. The aim is to highlight how internationalisation can contribute to innovation and development as well as opportunities and challenges linked to a higher education institution in development. The authors of an article in University World News argue that we must adapt the internationalisation of education to suit a world where physical mobility, after corona, is no longer the sine qua non of internationalisation. .
