KI-studenter vinner internationell uppsatstävling

|
Två studenter vid Karolinska Institutet (KI) tog nyligen hem vinsten i The Global Undergraduate Awards 2021, en prestigefull tävling där några av världens främsta studenter deltar. Delia-Denisa Dunca och Jenny Gehlen, båda från kandidatprogrammet i biomedicin vid KI vann första pris inom sina respektive kategorier, medicin och biovetenskap, i tävlingen The Global Undergraduate Awards. Internationaliseringsforum 21 oktober om nya Erasmus+ och inkluderande internationalisering
|
|
Arbetsgruppen för internationalisering KU och Jonas Sundbäck hälsa alla som är involverade i internationalisering inom utbildning välkomna till höstens forum. Programmet kommer att okusera på nyheter i den nya Erasmus+ perioden 2022-2027 och framför allt inkludering. Vi har bjudit in Kristin Lohse, Inclusion Officer från Universitets- och högskolerådet (UHR) för att berätta mer. Vad är minioritetsstress?

Välkommen på öppen föreläsning med Hanna Wallensteen om minioritetsstress och hur det påverkar förutsättningarna för vårdpersonal och patienter. En serie samtal om hållbar hälsa

|
Inom ramen för Centre of Excellence of Sustainable Health (CESH) där Karolinska Institutet ingår lanseras nu en serie samtal om hållbar hälsa. Det första mötet hålls den 25 oktober kl. 12.30 - 13.15 och blir ett samtal mellan Gabriel Wikström, Sveriges Agenda 2030-koordinator, och Professor Nelson Sewankambo, Professor Emeritus i medicin,Makerere University Uganda. Ny utlänningslag försvårar för internationella forskare och doktorander

KI:s rektor Ole Petter Ottersen har uttalat sig i flera foum om den nya utlänningslagen som gör det betydligt svårare att få permanent uppehållstillstånd i Sverige. Få massor av inspiration på ErasmusDays

|
Under 14 - 16 oktober kraftsamlar hela Europa i en gemensam manifestation; ErasmusDays. Tanken är att alla som har erfarenheter av Erasmus+ på olika sätt visar upp sina Erasmus+ mobiliteter och projektsamarbeten under dessa tre dagar. Förra året organiserades drygt 5000 aktiviteter i 84 länder under ErasmusDays. Delta och visa upp dina samarbeten inom Erasmus+. Läs mer på Universitets- och högskolerådet (UHR).

GO för studenter är en digital verktygslåda

GO Students (självregistrering i Canvas) har tagits fram av enheten för undervisning och lärande (UoL) i samarbete med studentrepresentanter från de globala programmen. GO är en digital verktygslåda som ger studenterna tips och stöd för digitalt lärande och en digital gemenskap. Även om vi återvänder till kampus så är blandade former av lärande här för att stanna! KI students win first prize in an international thesis award
|
|
Two students at Karolinska Institutet (KI) recently won first prize in The Global Undergraduate Awards 2021, an award in which some of the world's foremost students participate. Delia-Denisa Dunca and Jenny Gehlen, both from the Bachelor's programme in Biomedicine, became Global Winners in their respective categories, Medical Sciences, and Life Sciences, in the Global Undergraduate Awards 2021. Internationalisation Forum 21 October will focus on the new Erasmus+ programme and inclusion

The working group for internationalisation (KU) and Jonas Sundbäck welcome everyone who is involved in internationalisation in education to the autumn forum. The agenda will focus on news in the new Erasmus+ programme period 2022-2027 and above all inclusion. Global Conversations on Sustainable Health

Within the framework of the Centre for Excellence of Sustainable Health (CESH), in which Karolinska Institutet, is a member a series of conversations on sustainable health are now being launched. The first conversation will be held on October 25 at 12.30-13.15 and will be a meeting between Gabriel Wikström, Sweden's Agenda 2030 coordinator, and Professor Nelson Sewankambo, Professor Emeritus in Medicine, Makerere University Uganda. New migration law make staying in Sweden more complicated for foreign researchers and doctoral students
|
|
KI's president Ole Petter Ottersen has commented in several media channels on the new Aliens Act, which makes it much more difficult to obtain a permanent residence permit in Sweden. Get lots of inspiration on ErasmusDays

|
During 14 - 16 October, the whole of Europe will gather in a joint demonstration; ErasmusDays. The idea is that everyone who has an experience of Erasmus+ of any kind shows off their Erasmus+ mobiles and project collaborations during these three days. Last year, more than 5,000 activities were organized in 84 countries during ErasmusDays. Participate and showcase your collaborations within Erasmus+. GO Students is a digital toolbox

GO Students (sef enrollment in Canvas) was put together by the Unit for Teaching and Learning (UoL) in collaboration with student representatives from the Global programmes, to provide all students with tips, tools, guidelines, support and an online community for navigating online learning more successfully. The tips found here are useful even though we have been allowed to return to some campus-based activities. Blended forms of learning are here to stay and it is important to develop healthy strategies to navigate digital learning well! Watch the promo below.
