Ceremoni för globala masterstipendiater 2022
|
Elva utomeuropeiska mastersstudenter mottog Karolinska Institutets globala masterstipendier vid en årlig ceremoni i Aula Medica den 9 november. KI:s rektor Ole Petter Ottersen delade ut stipendierna och talade till studenterna om deras betydelse för att bidra till KI:s internationalisering och framgångar. Detta var hans sista stipendieceremoni innan hans förordnande som rektor är till ända och han berättade hur mycket han alltid uppskattat det årliga eventet med de globala studenterna. NeurotechEU-samarbetet går in i nästa fas
|
Under de senaste dagarna har NeurotechEU-samarbetet gått in i en ny fas. Under rektorsmötet förra veckan i Elche, Spanien välkomnades två nya medlemmar in i alliansen; Université de Lille i Frankrike och Reykjavik University på Island. Rektorerna undertecknade också en deklaration om NeurotechEU:s fortsatta åtaganden att arbeta för gemensam utbildning och forskning inom neurovetenskap och neuroteknik.Läs mer på neurotech.eu

Clément Pfingu - KI-alumn från samarbete med Svenska institutet (MISH)

"Jag har förbättrat mitt sätt att designa hållbara lösningar för mitt samhälle". Clément Pfingu är alumn från en kurs samordnad av uppdragsutbildning vid Karolinska Institutet (KI) "Managing Innovation for sustainable health" (MISH). Kursen finansieras av Svenska Institutet och syftar till att stärka yrkesverksamma inom offentlig sektors förmåga att bidra till innovation och stödja implementeringen av Agenda 2030. Välbesökt hearing om plattform för internationalisering
|
Plint, Plattform för internationalisering, har genomfört en hearing för att få inspel på frågor som ska prioriteras för att skapa bättre förutsättningar för internationalisering inom högre utbildning, forskning och innovation. Plattformen samordnar frågor och uppdraget genomförs i nära dialog med universitet och högskolor samt andra berörda myndigheter och aktörer. 5 tips för att driva blandad mobilitet (BIP) inom Erasmus+
|
European Association for International Education (EAIE) driver en blogg och tipsar i ett inlägg om hur man kan driva "blended intensive programmes" (BIP) inom ramen för Erasmus+ , en ny form av mobilitet i programperioden 2022-2027 där man inom en kortare kurs blandar fysisk och virtuell mobilitet.

Global Master’s Scholarship Ceremony 2022
|
Eleven non-European students gathered in the Conservatory at Aula Medica 9 November to receive scholarships in the ceremony for this year’s Global Master’s scholars 2021-2022. KI President Ole Petter Ottersen presented the scholarships and spoke to the students about them being crucial to contributing to the growth and success of KI globally. He also addressed that this was his final scholarship ceremony before his presidency ends in 2023 and how much he always appreciated the yearly event with the global scholars. Read more at ki.se.

NeurotechEU about to enter new phase
|
In the last days, NeurotechEU has entered a new phase of further collaboration. During the Rectors' meeting last week in Elche, Spain, two new members were welcomed into the alliance; Université de Lille in France and the University of Reykjavik in Iceland. The rectors also signed a declaration on NeurotechEU's continued commitment to work for education and research in neuroscience and neurotechnology. Read more at neurotech.eu

Clément Pfingu - KI-alumna from collaboration with the Swedish institute (MISH)

“I have improved in the ways I design sustainable solutions for my community”. Clément Pfingu is a previous participant in the "Managing Innovation for sustainable health"(MISH) training programme at Karolinska Institutet (KI). The programme is funded by the Swedish Institute through SI Public Sector Innovation Programme, which aims to strengthen public sector professionals' capacity to contribute to innovation and support the implementation of Agenda 2030. Well attended hearing on platform for internationalisation
|
Plint, Platform for internationalisation, called for a hearing to get input on issues that should be prioritized to facilitate internationalisation in higher education, research and innovation. The platform coordinates issues and the assignment is carried out in close dialogue with higher education institutions as well as other relevant authorities and actors.On UHR's page about the hearing, you can learn more about the four focus areas and find presentations (in Swedish).

The Association of Swedish Higher Education Institutions (SUHF) arranges seminar on 5 December
|
The seminar is organised on 5 December on Zoom by the working group for monitoring EU, which works on behalf of SUHF's expert group for internationalisation. It targets university management and anyone interested in European education and research. Register no later than 1 December. Read more and register at suhf.se (in Swedish).

The Inter-Agency Career Guidance Working Group is organizing the first Global Careers Month, between 8 November and 13 December. During this period, the international agencies will promote a series of global and regional events, in partnership with national and regional and global association associations operating around career development for both young people and adults. 5 tips for running Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)
|
The European Association for International Education (EAIE) runs a blog and provide tips in a recent blog post on how to run "blended intensive programs" (BIP) within the framework of Erasmus+. BIP's are a new form of mobility in the current programme period 2022-2027 where you blend physical and virtual mobility within a course.
