The EfD Annual Meeting is virtual this year due to Covid-19, but it keeps the same structure with great keynote speakers and multiple parallel sessions – all applying the best research tools to solve environment and poverty problems in the Global South. Tanzania researchers and policy-makers met to discuss sustainable development

EfD Tanzania plus the Centre for Behavioral Studies met with policy-makers for a two-day workwhop. The purpose was policy interaction and training. This is a good example of how EfD's researchers can provide decisionmakers with relevant research as foundation for sustainable policies.

Celebrities can not only make us buy a certain shampoo or join on-line casinos. According to new research they can also influence us to act more environmentally-friendly. A group of EfD researchers in Vietnam did a field experiment and made some very interesting observations.
