The EfD collaborative program CMaR, led by Francisco Alpizar, has written a report with an "app functionality" in mind. That is, they present a model for policymakers to analyze where their main sources of plastic pollution lie. Based on that analysis, tools and examples are presented to help them work out a tailormade set of policies to address those problems. But if I own the land for a long time, I will invest in it.

Sub-Saharan Africa is highly dependent on agriculture and badly affected by uncertainty in climatic patterns, due to low adaptive capacity. The study by EfD researchers Byela Tibesigwa, Herbert Ntuli, Razack Lokina, and Boscow Okumu, Coretha Komba finds that plots that adopt multiple season-cropping systems produce higher quantities, earn more crop revenue, and are less likely to be affected by rainfall variability in comparison to plots that engage in single season-cropping systems.
