Thank you all for the past year.
We will soon be able to put this extraordinary and in many ways tumultuous 12 months behind us. The pandemic caught us all unawares and few, if any, generations have experienced an event that has so clearly and simultaneously affected the entire world. We have all made considerable sacrifices and been forced to adapt our lives to new personal and professional circumstances of which we could not have dreamt. Given the current situation, 2020 has been a successful year for LK Armatur. While we have had some struggles with profitability over the course of the year, our proven ability to deliver has at the same time been a success factor in terms of sales and continued growth in our customer base, both of which bode well for the future. We can look back on yet another year characterised by resolute efforts to achieve our long-term strategic goals. Our unshakeable determination to meet the expectations and demands on us as a strong and reliable partner is one of our strengths as we build our brand and strive towards future success.
By demonstrating a high level of commitment and keeping an ear to the ground, we have steadfastly overcome our challenges. We are better equipped than ever to not only meet the demands of the marketplace but also the challenges inherent in expanding our business, not least internationally. Our unwavering determination to continuously develop our organisation, product portfolio and other support functions has been our guiding light and will continue to be so over the coming years.
Our product portfolio has continued to grow and we have also made planned investments in production equipment, personnel and other resources in Sweden, Germany and Serbia. In Germany, we have reinforced our sales organisation, as well as entering into new and significant agreements with both nationwide wholesalers and OEM customers.
Our faith in the future is unshakeable and everyone at LK is working purposefully according to our core values and the conviction that everything can be made simpler, smarter and more sustainable.
I would like to thank our customers, suppliers, staff and other partners for the past year and wish you all a successful and happy year, along with a humble wish for a pandemic-free 2021.
