Collaborative grant between KI and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin - Deadline: June 10, 2024

Karolinska Institutet and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin have entered into a bilateral agreement. The Internationalisation Board at KI is pleased to announce the availability of limited competitive funds för KI faculty and staff for grant applications to strengthen collaborative interactions within research and education. Vacant positions as visiting scientist at NIOM during 2025 - Deadline for application: June 20, 2024

The purpose of Nordic Institute of Dental Materials (NIOM) visiting scientist programme is to enhance Nordic collaboration on biomaterials research. NIOM funds positions available for periods between 3 and 6 months. Scientists working in the Nordic countries, with documented education and/or research experience, are welcome to apply. PhD students and young scientists affiliated with a Nordic institution are especially encouraged to apply. More information is available on ki.se.

Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists – celebrating excellent young researchers - Application deadline: July 15, 2024

The prize is awarded yearly to a young scientist who has conducted exceptional research in life sciences and has been granted a doctoral degree. The research topic of the participant's thesis must fall under one of the following categories: cell and molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, systems biology approaches, ecology and environment, or molecular medicine. Eligibility: applicants must have received their PhD between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023. For more information, please visit the Science website.

Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Short-term) - Application deadline: July 15, 2024

The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT), in collaboration with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) award scholarships for research stays in Japan. The JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is open for research in all fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. SPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Short-term) awards PhD students close to graduation as well as recently graduated doctors a post-doc scholarship for 1 to 12 months research stay in Japan. Grants for short term research by doctoral students at University of Bonn - Application deadline: July 15, 2024

Santander International Exchange Grants aims to support doctoral students in building international networks and raising their academic profile. The grant can fund doctoral students from partners whithin NeurotechEU, of which KI is a member, a research stay of up to 3 months at the University of Bonn. More information is available on ki.se.

Researchers’ Grand Prix Digital - Application deadline: August 1, 2024

Researchers’ Grand Prix Digital is the Researchers’ Grand Prix (Forskar Grand Prix) online heat in connection with the science festival ForskarFredag (European Researchers’ Night in Sweden). The competition is open to anyone working with research in the public or private sector in Sweden. Competitors will receive coaching in presentation techniques and will have the opportunity to qualify for the national final of the Researchers' Grand Prix. You can apply between June 1 - August 1. STINTs program Teaching Sabbatical - Application deadline: September 16, 2024

SSTINT’s Teaching Sabbatical programme aims to develop both individuals and institutions. The programme gives passionate Swedish researchers and university lecturers international experiences relevant to their teaching rather than their research roles. NeurotechEU collaboration grant 2024

These visits aim to facilitate the planning or execution of collaborative endeavors with NeurotechEU partners. The grant can be used to cover costs for transportation and accommodation at the host site for the proposed period (minimum 3 days) with a maximum amount of 25 000 SEK. There are no deadlines for this grant. StratNeuro and NeurotechEU will be continuously evaluating any application that is submitted. Also, there is no time deadline for when the travel should be as long as it is within the next 3 years. More information is available on ki.se.
