KI's Prize for Innovation and Utilization 2024 - Deadline for nominations: April 11, 2024

The prize recognizes one or more researchers/research students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding utilization of research results that have led to innovation. Anyone can nominate one or more candidates. Self-nomination is accepted. You are invited to nominate candidates who are active researchers/research students (employed, adjunct or affiliated with KI). The Cell – life science in Hagastaden - April 20, 2024

During Stockholm Culture Night 2024, The Cell opens its doors and invites visitors to a unique experience. Visit the Cell and enjoy the artist Helen Pynor's exhibition "Borderlands," a deep dive into the borderland between life and death. Admission is free on 20 April 2024 from 18.00 to 00.00.

The KI Core Facility Poster Lunch Event 2024 - April 22, 2024. Time: 12:00-13:00

Join the annual poster lunch event for PhD students and Postdoctoral researchers at Neo (level 5th) on the KI Flemingsberg campus. Around 50 core facilities at KI offer a wide range of equipment, services, and expertise. During the event sandwiches and coffee are provided. First come first serve. Become a Fellow for Gender Equal Career Development (FIELD) Program - Deadline: May 26, 2024

The program aims at you who have completed your PhD since at least two years and have an employment at KI or are adjunct to research and/or education at KI through employment of at least 20 %. You who have a position as associate professor or professor at KI or elsewhere do not have the possibility to participate in the program as a fellow, but you may become a mentor for a small group of fellows. Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists – celebrating excellent young researchers - Application deadline: July 15, 2024

The prize is awarded yearly to a young scientist who has conducted exceptional research in life sciences and has been granted a doctoral degree. The research topic of the participant's thesis must fall under one of the following categories: cell and molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, systems biology approaches, ecology and environment, or molecular medicine. Eligibility: applicants must have received their PhD between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023. For more information, please visit the Science website.
