UPDATE PARTNERSHIP SKÅNE

 
In Partnership Skåne, organizations that are involved in the integration process of newly arrived migrants in Skåne, come together in the development of methods supporting health equity and social inclusion, addressing prioritised needs where regional cooperation and coordination of resources is necessary. The work is centred around three areas of activities – Civic and health communication, Coordination of activities within civil society, and collaboration with researchers in MILSA.
 

UPDATE PSYCHOSOCIAL HEALTH

Partnership Skåne has been conducting method development connected to refugees’ psychosocial health since 2015. Evaluations are ongoing, below you can see the main components of the concept.

WAYS FORWARD – A WORKSHOP SERIES FOR MIGRANTS

Ways Forward is a workshop series on well-being, stress management, reconciliation, and acceptance. The series is part of a programme developed by MILSA that integrates civic and health communication in collaboration with supportive resources such as civil society associations, municipalities, and heathcare providers.

CIVIC AND HEALTH COMMUNICATION FOR SUSTAINABLE INTEGRATION

MILSA national conference in April 2021 gathered 600 people in a program on how civic and health communication for newly arrived migrants can support sustainable integration. The conference program highlighted many aspects of civic and health communication such as democracy, human rights, Covid-19, parenting, and mental health. Some of the highlights from the conference have been collected in a short film.

MILSA HIGHLIGHTED AS A CASE IN THE WHO E4As GUIDE FOR ADVANCING HEALTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

In 2021 WHO Europe e published a guide for advancing health and sustainable development. MILSA Educational Platform was presented as a case for strengthening health litteracy.

UPDATE INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

 

REGIONS FOR MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES INTEGRATION

The REGIN Project was created to mainstream migrant and refugee integration within social cohesion policies at regional level, by building a common framework to facilitate, guide and improve the performance of regions through innovative tools. The project runs from January 2020 to April 2022 and is coordinated by the CPMR as leader of a consortium consisting of 10 partners and is implemented in European regions. A regional MIPEX has been developed and answered by regional stake holders. Partnership Skåne has conducted a testbed around psychosocial health in a special collaboration with Save the Children and Swedish Development Partner.

PARTNERSHIP SKÅNE AS ILLUSTRATIVE CASE STUDY - FOCUS APPROACH

FOCUS is an EU funded research project running from January 2019 to June 2022, led by the IFRC Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support hosted by the Danish Red Cross with partners from nine countries.

INCLUSIVE AND PARTICIPATORY METHODS IN SIRI PROJECT

Partnership Skåne has been given the task of training regional, cross-sectional actors in the Inhambane region of Mozambique in inclusive and participatory practices with the aim of improving social and gender inclusion in the region's urban development. QUALITY ASSURANCE

Shababuna is an EU-funded awareness project based in Catalonia, Spain with the aim of Moroccan young people being well informed about their future prospects in the country as well as about the risks of illegal migration. Partnership Skåne has been asked to support the qualitative aspects of the project in both planning and implementation. Read more about the project here.
