"Allergilyftet" was a great success!

On 17th March, the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association (AAF) organised a one-day digital conference “Allergilyftet”. After an empathetic welcome speech by HM Queen Silvia, leading Swedish scientists presented their latest asthma and allergy research findings, and colleagues from Finland joined to talk about the successful Finnish national allergy programme. This led to discussions around allergy tolerance and whether Sweden should implement a similar national allergy programme as in Finland. Participating national politicians agreed that joining forces at a national level may be a good idea. The conference was a great success with over 1000 participants!
