Congratulations to all CfA colleagues for a very productive year!

 

At least 65 articles were published during 2021 on the subject of allergy by authors affiliated to the Karolinska Institute and Karolinska University Hospital, see the complete list here. Among others, some highlights include important and timely findings on COVID-19 in young adults with asthma by the BAMSE study group, epidemiological findings on early life stress and the later development of allergic disease in the next generation, urinary eicosanoids as type 2 biomarkers and new plasma biomarkers as non-type 2 biomarkers in severe asthma by the U-BIOPRED, SWEDISH SEARCH and BIOAIR study groups, and most recently, novel findings on impaired skin barrier and allergic sensitization by the PreventADALL study group.
