The safety industry must capitalize on skills – irrespective of gender

In 2011, Therese Segerlund stumbled into the safety industry purely by chance. Her career started within customer service and technical support but later evolved into project planning and certified engineering for intrusion alarm systems after having applied for advancement internally in 2016.
We contacted Therese to get a woman’s view from inside an otherwise relatively male-dominated industry.

SSF 130 interpretation document – date added 2023-03-01

In the course of his work, John Lindvall, certification engineer at SBSC, has noted that the new interpretation document has not been brought to the attention of everyone who would benefit from the information.
”It seems to me that very few people are aware of the new interpretation, which includes, among other things, the addition of some definitions and clarification of several others. Several sections have been supplemented and clarified, and some have been deleted altogether.”

Record number of participants at Detektor Open

On August 29, the Skyddsgolfen Detektor Open was arranged in glorious sunshine and with a record number of participants! SBSC was of course there as a sponsor and also participated with a happy group on the track.
