Yale Doorman – the first to be SBSC certified under the new SSF 3523

Assa Abloy's well-known lock Yale Doorman was the first with an SBSC certification according to the new standard SSF 3523 Digital locking units.

We met Magnus Eriksson and Håkan Hedlund from Assa Abloy, which manufactures Yale Doorman, and Mats Moberg and Inge Lidén, project manager for standards at SSF, who were both involved in developing the new standard, to talk about digital locks, security and testing.

Electrical thermography – cheap insurance against costly electrical fires

Electrical thermography is a well-established way of avoiding electrical fires in heavy industry and the potential of the technology is enormous. By regularly examining electrical panels and electrical cabinets with the help of a thermal camera, a trained thermographer can find deviations before they result in a fire.

We welcome Björn Bovin to SBSC!

Björn comes most recently from Dellner Dampers where he worked as SQA, quality engineer.

At SBSC, Björn will primarily work as a certification engineer for locks and fittings and vehicle protection.

Outside of work, beer brewing is a hobby that has stuck with Björn for over ten years, as well as outdoor activities and simple carpentry work.
